GTA 5 Cheats

GTA games always offer a fun selection of cheats with which to play with. In the past, these cheats were activated by entering specific combinations of buttons on the controller, or by keying in specific words or phrases in the case of the PC versions. In Grand Theft Auto IV, the procedure involved dialling numbers on Niko's cell phone, and we expect this method to be carried on in GTAV.
Cheats make the game easier to play, for example by restoring the player's health, supplying ammunition or removing police 'wanted' levels. Sometimes, however, cheats can have interesting or unusual effects, and such cheats are added for comedic purposes or to make the gameplay more exciting. For instance, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas had a 'chaos' mode which caused pedestrians to riot, and a 'slut magnet' mode which gave CJ a gimp suit and attracted the attention of sex-toy-wielding pedestrians!

What to Expect

Based on past experience, we expect to see, at a minimum, the following cheat codes in Grand Theft Auto V:

It's amazing what phones can do these days...

• Health
  Replenish your character's health. If you enter this cheat in a vehicle, it has the double effect of restoring your vehicle's health.
• Armor
  Give your character armor (this works in exactly the same way as health).
• Weapons
  Supply your character with weapons. Usually there are two or three separate weapon cheats, with one offering 'advanced' weapons and others offering weaker alternatives (e.g. grenades vs. molotovs). Enter the cheat repeatedly to increase your ammunition.
• Remove Wanted Level
  Does as it says on the tin - removes a police wanted level.
• Raise Wanted Level
  Adds one star to your police wanted level. The more stars you have, the more cops will chase you.
• Change Weather
  Keep entering this cheat to cycle through various weather types (e.g. sunny, very sunny, cloudy, thunderstorm, etc.)
• Spawn Vehicle
  Spawn a vehicle in front of your character. Handy when you're stranded in the countryside, miles from the nearest town. A wide selection of car, motorcycle, aircraft and seacraft spawn cheats will be available in GTA 5.

What We Hope For

In GTAV we are hoping for a greater and more diverse selection of cheat codes than we got in GTAIV, to extend the fun factor and longevity of the game. In addition to the 'standard' cheats, we'd like to see flying cars, riot modes, unlimited health, bodyguards, and the ability to play as different characters. Welcome to San Andreas...

Grove Street Families are a diminishing gang in Los Santos, San Andreas. Everyday, their men get capped, the Ballas gain strength and Grove Street get weaker. Things have slowly gotten worse since Carl Johnson (Grove Street OG) left Los Santos for a new life in Liberty City five years ago. Sweet is Carl's older brother, and heads up the Grove Street gang. Sweet blames Carl for the death of their younger brother Brian who was involved in an unfortunate accident all those years ago. Lack of weaponary, poor health because of drugs, a rapidly decreasing rate of respect and betrayal--have all led to Grove Street's downfall. Grove Street OG's Big Smoke and Ryder, are trying to setup a new drug business with the Loco Syndicate. The Loco Syndicate is run by Mike Toreno, a shady CIA agent. Welcome to GTA Vice City!

This site is dedicated to Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, the fourth title in the Grand Theft Auto video game series. The game was released in 2002 by Rockstar Games, one year after its predecessor Grand Theft Auto III. The game was initially released for the PlayStation 2 platform, and later released for the Xbox and PC. With nearly 20 million units sold, Vice City is one of the highest selling games for the PlayStation 2.
